काठमाण्डौ,नेपाल – नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्ड ने उन खबरों को भ्रामक बताया है जिनमें दावा किया गया था कि भारतीय नागरिकों को उनके पहचान पत्र की जांच के बाद नेपाल आने की इजाजत दी जा रही है।
सुत्र की ओर से पहले दावा किया गया था कि जोगबनी सीमा चौकी से नेपाल जाने के लिए पहचान पत्र अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है।
इसमें कहा गया कि पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी की जीत के बाद अवैध घुसपैठियों और रोहिंग्याओं को रोकने के लिए आईडी कार्ड अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। हालाँकि, पर्यटन बोर्ड ने कहा है कि ये रिपोर्टें ग़लत हैं।
नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्ड द्वारा जारी एक बयान में कहा गया है, “नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्ड ने नेपाल आने वाले भारतीय पर्यटकों के लिए यात्रा नियमों के बारे में विभिन्न मीडिया आउटलेट्स और ऑनलाइन प्लेटफार्मों में फैलाई जा रही भ्रामक और तथ्यात्मक जानकारी पर गहरी चिंता व्यक्त की है।
ऐसी रिपोर्टों में दावा किया गया है कि नेपाली सरकार ने नेपाल-भारत सीमा पार करने वाले भारतीयों के लिए पहचान पत्र अनिवार्य बनाने, भारतीय पर्यटकों के ठहरने की अवधि को 30 दिन या उससे अधिक तक सीमित करने जैसे नए प्रतिबंध लगाए हैं।
ये सभी रिपोर्टें पूरी तरह से झूठी, आधारहीन और भ्रामक हैं।”
