काठमाण्डौ,नेपाल – अमेरिका और ईरान के बीच रिश्ते एक बार फिर तनावपूर्ण हो गए हैं।
ईरान में चल रहे आंदोलन और दोनों देशों के बीच टकराव को देखते हुए अमेरिकी रक्षा विभाग (पेंटागन) मध्य पूर्व में और अधिक सैनिक और युद्धपोत भेजने की तैयारी कर रहा है।
सुत्र के मुताबिक जिस योजना पर अभी चर्चा हो रही है, उसके मुताबिक अमेरिका ‘यूएसएस अब्राहम लिंकन’ नाम का एक बड़ा युद्धपोत (एयरक्राफ्ट कैरियर) उस इलाके में भेज सकता है ।
मध्य पूर्व में कतर, जॉर्डन और इराक जैसे देशों में लगभग 30,000 अमेरिकी सैनिक तैनात हैं।
यह कदम अपने सैनिकों को ईरान के संभावित हमले से बचाने और ईरान को डराने के लिए उठाया गया है ।
अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने ईरान में प्रदर्शनकारियों के दमन को लेकर कड़ी चेतावनी जारी की है. उधर, ईरान ने भी धमकी दी है कि अगर अमेरिका ने हमला किया तो वह अपने वहां मौजूद अमेरिकी सैन्य ठिकानों पर बड़ा हमला करेगा।
विशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक ईरान पर सैन्य हमला खतरनाक हो सकता है क्योंकि इससे अमेरिकी सैनिकों की जान को खतरा हो सकता है ।
फिलहाल ट्रंप ने कहा है कि हमले की योजना फिलहाल रुकी हुई है, क्योंकि ईरान में प्रदर्शनकारियों की हत्या रोकने की खबरें आई हैं।
हालाँकि, सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका समुद्र में मिसाइलों को नष्ट करने वाले युद्धपोतों और लड़ाकू विमानों को शामिल करने की तैयारी कर रहा है।
अब युद्धपोत यूएसएस लिंकन फिलीपींस के पास समुद्र से मध्य पूर्व की ओर बढ़ता नजर आ रहा है।
सुत्र के मुताबिक, वहां पहुंचने में करीब एक हफ्ते का समय लगेगा ।
