महराजगंज जनपद में पुलिस अधीक्षक शक्तिमोहन अवस्थी के निर्देशन,मे अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक सिद्धार्थ के पर्यवेक्षण में जनपद में साइबर अपराधों की रोकथाम एवं पीड़ितों को त्वरित सहायता उपलब्ध कराने हेतु लगातार प्रभावी कार्रवाई की जा रही है
इसी क्रम में थाना चौक क्षेत्र निवासी कमलेश कुमार पटेल निवासी पिपरा सोनाड़ी, थाना चौक साइबर ठगी का शिकार हो गए थे। पीड़ित द्वारा साइबर हेल्पलाइन 1930 पर शिकायत दर्ज कराई गई, जिसके उपरांत साइबर सेल थाना चौक द्वारा MRM पोर्टल के माध्यम से संबंधित बैंक से समन्वय स्थापित कर प्रभावी कार्रवाई की गई।
पुलिस के सतत प्रयासों के फलस्वरूप पीड़ित की ₹14,172 (चौदह हजार एक सौ बहत्तर रुपये) की धनराशि सफलतापूर्वक वापस कराई गई, जिससे पीड़ित ने महराजगंज पुलिस का आभार व्यक्त किया।
